Three image modes
Use Badge / logo mode for flat-color art, Photo mode for people, pets and scenes, or Heightmap mode if you already have a grayscale depth map.
A height for every color
Each color is its own region with its own height. Put the main device highest and the lettering above its band.
Edge profiles
Choose a dome, pillow, bevel or flat edge, then set the profile rise and shoulder width. Set Smallest feature to match your finishing bit.
AI depth for photos
Silhouette, Form, Flatten and Texture controls make subjects stand out from a flat floor without looking like flat cut-outs.
Frames and rims
Add a rectangle, circle, oval or rounded frame. Leave the outside at full height, cut it away, or add a raised rim.
Background removal
Click to remove connected background, or use the erase and restore brushes. Removed areas drop to the floor.
Carve in (intaglio)
Flip the relief into a pocket for an intaglio carving.
Live 3D wood preview
Orbit the relief in maple, cherry, walnut, oak, pine, clay or brass, with adjustable lighting and exaggeration.
Files your CAM software expects
You get an STL in inches or mm with a base slab, at three mesh detail levels: Draft, Standard, and Fine (about 1M triangles). You can also export a 16-bit heightmap PNG, or copy the exact Aspire import values to paste in.
The feeds and speeds are starting points. Check them against your machine's chart before the first cut.
